CBSE has officially opened the SARAS 7.0 automated affiliation portal for the academic session 2027–28 vide Notification No. 07/2026 dated 26 February 2026. The application window will remain open from 26 February 2026 to 31 July 2026 for fresh affiliation, upgradation, extension, branch approval, section increase, and other categories.

CBSE vide Notification No. 06/2026 dated 25 February 2026 has amended Appendix-V under Chapter 3 of the Affiliation Bye-Laws 2018. The maximum number of sections permitted will now be calculated strictly on the basis of Total Built-up Area, certified by a Local Body or Licensed Architect. Additionally, recent amendments mandate the appointment of a Counselor/Wellness Teacher and revise land norms.

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has opened the application window for new Centers of Legal Education (CLEs) and existing institutions seeking additional sections or new courses for the academic session 2026–2027. Applications are open from 24 February 2026 to 31 March 2026. Incomplete or defective applications will be rejected without further notice.

The Indian Nursing Council (INC) vide Notification No. 6 of 2026 dated 29 January 2026 has released the official schedule for B.Sc Nursing admissions for the academic year 2026–27. Entrance examinations must be conducted before 15 June 2026, with academic session commencing on 1 August 2026 and the last date of admission fixed as 30 September 2026.

The Indian Nursing Council (INC) vide Notification No. 5 of 2026 dated 20 January 2026 has invited online applications for Renewal of Suitability for the academic year 2026–27. Applications are to be submitted through the official INC portal, and the last date for submission is 30 April 2026.

The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), following the Hon’ble Supreme Court-approved order dated 08 September 2025, has opened the DIGI-PHARMed portal for new pharmacy institutions throughout the year (365 days). Institutions submitting complete SIF, PERC, and statutory documents on or before 14 November will be considered for the upcoming academic session; submissions after this date will roll over to the next session.
